Divisions at CHDS
Early Childhood
Cincinnati Hebrew Day School utilizes the Creative Curriculum for its Early Childhood program, starting with the youngest of toddlers. With their own wing in the Golf Manor campus, the younger grades learn through experience in their large and recently revamped classrooms.
Elementary Division
From first through fifth grade, the students at CHDS build their skills through a range of learning modalities, both in Judaic and General Studies. With continuity in curriculum, each grade builds on the previously acquired education in a seamless manner.
Middle School
In sixth through eighth grade, CHDS prepares the students for the transition to higher learning. With departmentalized General Studies and guidance in forming effective study habits, our students are well prepared as they enter their high school experiences.
Learning Center
Our Learning Center is staffed by warm teachers to aid our students in their success in school, whether it be on the Judaic or General Studies front. With push-in and pull-out models, we aim to help each child reach his or her potential.
We love that the teachers are so warm and innovative. They utilize a multimodal approach to teach each subject in a multifaceted way with endless energy!

Continuous Years of Quality Education
When our son was younger, we realized that he had a different way of learning that was not the mainstream way, and would need some extra attention. When he entered kindergarten at CHDS we were unsure if he would be able to fully grasp the concept of reading and comprehending. With lots of accommodations, encouragement and resources from his teachers, our son mastered reading and other studies, and was able to keep up with his peers! Earlier this year he read his Bar Mitzvah parsha. My husband and I can not thank his dedicated teachers at CHDS enough for always believing in him and helping him to reach this milestone.
